Health and Safety Protection Policy
The Company, its Directors and Senior Management are fully committed to ensuring the health and safety of all crew members and staff on board its vessels and in its offices, contracted personnel and any other persons who are directly or indirectly linked with its business and operations. The Company is committed to conducting its business with integrity and in accordance with all international, national and local laws and other requirements to which its business activities are subject. The Company will ensure that the concept of safe operations is conveyed and understood by all employees and that safe working practices are fully implemented on board all its ships.
GRANDE aims to achieve the following objectives,
- Safety at sea
- Injury, occupational diseases and human loss prevention
- Prevention of damage to property (vessel and cargo)
Responds quickly, effectively and with care to emergencies or accidents resulting from its operations, in co-operation with industry organizations and authorized government agencies. Undertakes appropriate reviews and evaluations of its operations to measure progress and to foster compliance with this Policy. Conducts and supports research to extend knowledge about the health and safety effects of its operations and promptly applies significant findings and, as appropriate, shares them with employees, contractors, government agencies and others who might be affected. Relevant procedures and operational instructions are included in the Safety Management System (SMS) which the Company implements, maintains and monitors.
Environmental Protection Policy
Environmental Protection is a top priority for GRANDE Ship Management. The Company and its Senior Management is fully committed to a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for all forms of environmental pollution, and to ensuring that the areas in which we operate are protected from pollution by our ships. The company will continuously strive to identify and correct any conditions or procedures which may be hazardous to the environment. Pollution of the environment by a ship can be caused in a number of ways and may be the result of system failure or human failings. The company is committed to minimising the risk

Shares its experience with others to facilitate improvements in industry performance.
Protection of the environment is also the personal and legislated responsibility of each individual employee. The company commits to put all available resources at the disposal of its personnel to ensure that they are in a position to fulfil that responsibility, and expects all personnel to make environmental protection their own top priority.
